Once upon a time, there was a girl called Goldilocks*. One day, Goldilocks was walking alone in the big, dark forest. Suddenly, she saw a beautiful cottage, with a garden full of brightly coloured spring flowers. It was so beautiful, she decided to go in.
When she went in, she saw 3 bowls of soup on the table*. She tasted the soup in the big bowl.
“This soup’s too hot!” shouted Goldilocks.
She tried the soup in the medium sized bowl.
“This soup’s too cold!” shouted Goldilocks.
She then tried the soup from the small bowl.
“This soup is just right!”
After eating the delicious soup, she wanted to sit down for a while. There were 3 chairs in the living room. Goldilocks sat down on the big chair.
“This chair is too hard!” shouted Goldilocks.
Then she sat down on the medium-sized chair.
“This chair is too soft!” shouted Goldilocks.
Then, she sat on the small chair.
“This chair is just right!” said Goldilocks. But the chair was too weak for her, and when she sat down, it broke into lots and lots of pieces.
“Ouch!” cried Goldilocks as she fell on the floor.
After that, Goldilocks wanted to go to sleep, so she went upstairs and she went into the bedroom. Goldilocks got into the big bed.
“This bed is too hard!” shouted Goldilocks.
She then got into the medium-sized bed.
“This bed is too soft!” shouted Goldilocks.
She then got into the small bed.
“This bed is just right!” she said.
Goldilocks immediately fell asleep, and she had lots of happy dreams.
Meanwhile, the 3 bears came back from their walk.
There was Daddy Bear, Mummy Bear, and Baby Bear.
They saw the empty bowl on the table.
“Who ate my soup?” cried Baby Bear.
They then saw the broken chair.
“Who broke my chair?” cried Baby Bear.
The bears then went up to the bedroom, where they saw Goldilocks sleeping.
“Wake up, little girl!” shouted Daddy Bear.
Goldilocks shot up, saw the 3 bears, and she screamed: “AHHHHHHH!”
She ran out of the house, as fast as she could, and the bears followed her. When she left the big, dark forest, she couldn’t see the bears anymore. She was safe! And she promised to never go anywhere she wasn’t supposed to be again.
